FAQs

Got a question? We’ve got an answer.

Why should I sealcoat?

Many people like the way that a new sealcoat looks on a parking lot. And while it is true that it can improve the aesthetic, there is a real purpose to sealcoating. Pavement is exposed to many elements throughout the year, such as sun, water and oils, that over time can cause the pavement to crack. By sealcoating your asphalt you are adding a layer of protection between the asphalt and damage causing elements. Thus extending the life of your pavement.

How often should I sealcoat?

Depending on the type of sealant process that is used, we recommend sealcoating every 1-3 years.

What type of sealcoating services do you offer?

We offer both spray and squeegee sealcoating services. To learn more about the difference between the two, check out our page here

How long should I remain off my newly sealed parking lot?

Our recommended time for staying off newly sealed pavement is 12-24 hours, depending on the type of sealant process that is used. And remember, sealant dries from the top down, so even though the pavement may appear dry, it could still be wet underneath.

When should I get asphalt cracks repaired?

Cracks of at least 1/4 inch in your asphalt should be accessed and repaired each year to protect your investment.

Are you licensed and insured?

Absolutely! We wouldn’t be in business if we weren’t.

When is the best time to seal my parking lot?

The optimal time to apply sealant is when temperatures reach at least 50°.
